The Spectacular Snapping Turtle
Snapping turtles are found all across the eastern United States, southern Canada, and Central America. These creatures tend to be around 19 inches long on average, and can weigh up to 220 pounds. Snapping turtles hunt their prey at night and hunters tend to prefer catching them in traps. Some hunters may also choose using fishing lines and bait to catch them.
